1.Why do we choose etching for processing tiny mesh holes?

Wire Cutting: This process is typically used for independent holes and is slower. It also has some defects around the hole edges due to the wire's speed. Cleaning is required afterward, which can be cumbersome, especially for ultra-thin materials.

Laser Cutting: Faster than wire cutting but still has some drawbacks, such as residual carbon at the edges of the holes that are difficult to clean. The smallest holes laser cutting can produce are 0.1mm or smaller. However, laser cutting can distort material properties due to the high heat involved.

Etching Process: Etching works well for materials with thicknesses less than 1mm and is especially suitable for dense, high-precision holes. The resulting holes are uniform and burr-free, making it ideal for mass production of small holes. It is highly efficient, with a production capacity of up to 1000 square meters per day, and offers superior precision for holes smaller than 0.5mm in diameter. Etching is especially useful for intricate hole designs and high-tolerance requirements.
